In the new marina of Tangier, a bunkering station capable of servicing large vessels, including superyachts up to 500 tonnes displacement, was required. MSI installed a floating pontoon measuring 4 meters in width and 1.5 meters in depth, providing the robustness and stability necessary for this type of operation.
As a standout technical solution, an existing breakwater was reused to anchor amortized tie-rods that keep the pontoon parallel to it and absorb stresses in both directions. The result is an innovative, efficient, and economically advantageous solution for marina operations.
