Quai Issouf-Ali, pontoon for military patrol boats

The French Navy in Mayotte needed to replace its steel pontoons, which suffered from high maintenance costs and excessive movement caused by wave action and harsh environmental conditions. MSI installed model SF1550 concrete floating pontoons, 5 meters wide, anchored using a mixed system of chains and elastic components capable of accommodating a tidal range of up to 6 meters.
This solution delivers enhanced stability, robustness, and reliability for mooring service and coastal patrol vessels, and has proven its high resistance, maintaining structural integrity even after exposure to cyclones.
